The Nederland Downtown Development Authority (NDDA) seeks one member to join the Board. The goal of the NDDA is to promote economic development and infrastructure improvements in the NDDA downtown district. Current NDDA projects are cited in the “NDDA 2017 Master Plan” and the “2005 NDDA Plan of Development.” For your reference, both documents are available for review on the NDDA website: www.nederlanddowntown.org
Applicants must be either a property owner or business lessee operating within the Downtown Development district. Board members serve four-year terms. NDDA board meetings are held at the Nederland Community Center on the second Wednesday of each month starting at 6:00 p.m.
Applications are due by Wednesday, July 1, 2020. NDDA board members will review candidate applications at their July 8, 2020 meeting and provide their recommendation of who is a viable candidate to the Board of Trustees (BOT). The BOT will appoint one of the applicants to the NDDA at their July 21, 2020 meeting (BOT meeting starts at 7pm). Applicants are encouraged to attend both meetings
